Steve Tratt Steve brings over 13 years of recruitment experience, specialising in IT across both contract and permanent markets.

At Synchro Partners, Steve focuses on delivering across a broad IT remit, including Infrastructure & Cloud, Software Development, Cyber Security, Data & BI, ERP/CRM, Project Services and Transformation, as well as technology leadership appointments.

Steve began his career as a Resource Manager within an IT consulting firm, where he was responsible for end-to-end recruitment, talent pooling, and workforce deployment across large-scale programs of work. He then spent more than a decade with two leading Melbourne-based IT recruitment firms, partnering with a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients to deliver talent solutions across a broad range of technology roles.

More recently, Steve worked alongside the Director of an industrial recruitment business to establish and grow their permanent recruitment function across multiple sectors. This experience further strengthened his ability to build new service lines, open strategic client relationships, and drive sustained account growth.

Steve is highly relationship-driven, with particular strength in new business development and the growth of strategic client accounts. His consultative approach, combined with a qualification in Operations Management, enables him to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and align recruitment outcomes to broader business objectives.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys an active lifestyle and values time with his family.
